Kuchma And Turkish President Sezer To Determine Guidelines For Bilateral
Cooperation
President Leonid Kuchma of Ukraine and the President of Turkey Ahmet Necdet Sezer are going to adopt a declaration within the framework of the Turkish president's visit to Ukraine, in which they will sketch guidelines for future bilateral relations of the two countries. The ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey, Ihor Dolhov, stated this to journalists. According to his words, as part of Sezer's visit a document will be signed on exchange of land parcels for setting up the diplomatic missions of Ukraine in Ankara and Turkey's in Kyiv, and also several other documents.

Wednesday to Friday. On Thursday he is going to meet with President Leonid
Kuchma, Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych and the Speaker of the Verkhovna
Rada (parliament), Volodymyr Lytvyn.
President Of Turkey Sezer Arrives In Ukraine To Meet Government Officials
President of Turkey Ahmet Sezer arrived in Ukraine with a state visit, which will be held till Friday. Deputy Prime Minister Dmytro Tabachnyk, Minister of Foreign Affairs Anatolii Zlenko and Mayor of Kyiv Oleksandr Omelchenko met him in the Boryspil airport. On Thursday President Cezer will meet President Leonid Kuchma, Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych and Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Lytvyn. On Friday he will depart from Boryspil for Simferopol. In May President Sezer gave a high assessment of Ukrainian-Turkish relations and he noted the important role of Ukraine in ensuring regional and European security. In the opinion of the Turkish President, the traditional friendly relations of the two countries are underpin by mutually advantageous cooperation in the economic, military and technical as well as humanitarian fields.
